In the context of the supply chain, you will learn how to plan, schedule and prioritize incoming and outgoing freight. In this course, you will discuss the variety of shipping and receiving policies and procedures and how they help ensure the smooth movement of goods within the supply chain. You will learn about various shipping and receiving tasks including attaching appropriate protective and security devices, visually and physically inspecting product packaging for damage and selecting the carrier appropriate to the load being shipped.
Textbooks and Booklists
Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca. Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
