The College’s Future Student Account website (apply.rrc.ca) will be unavailable from 4pm on Friday, November 1, until approximately 8:30am on Thursday, November 7.
In this course,
students will learn how to train novice drivers to be safe and confident when
operating a class 5 vehicle in Manitoba. Students will familiarize themselves
with the Highway Traffic Act and Drivers and Vehicles Act and reference each
when explaining how to safely operate a vehicle in various circumstances.
Through exploring best teaching practices including safe and inclusive learning
environments, facilitation, and instructional strategies, and providing
effective feedback, students will develop a lesson plan and deliver a lesson.
By the end of the course, students will be prepared to apply the skills needed
for training novice drivers.
