The courses in the Nurse Re-Entry Program are designed to assist nurses previously registered to return to active practice, to provide a review of current nursing theory, skills and practice standards to meet the College of Registered Nurses (CRNM) Entry Level Competencies for the Practice of Registered Nurses.
The Nurse Re-Entry Program will serve four distinct groups of students:
- Previously registered nurses directed by a nursing regulatory body to take prescribed courses due to identified competency and knowledge gaps for the purpose of Registered Nurse license requirement.
- Previously registered nurses directed by a nursing regulatory body to take prescribed courses due to disciplinary action for purposes of license registration requirement.
- Former and current registered nurses, IENs and Canadian educated nurses who wish to attain a college credential for the purpose of professional development.
- Nurses with current registration with a regulatory body who wish to take courses for the purpose of professional development.
