The Nursing Practicum is a preceptored clinical practice. It is usually delivered in a medical or surgical setting. If possible, this will be arranged for you in your community or geographic area.
To be eligible to enroll in the PRAC-3017 Nursing Practicum, you must submit the following prior to the start of the course:
- Evidence of BLS Provider (current within one year of attending practicum)
- PHIA
- Respiratory FIT Testing Card
- WHMIS Certificate
- Immunizations and Testing:
- You must also submit Adult Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector (ACRVS), Provincial Child Abuse Registry (PCAR) and Adult Abuse Registry Check (AARC) check documents at least eight weeks before the start date of your Nursing Practice. You must submit original documents.
