The Nurse Re-Entry Program consists of eleven (11) courses, including two (2) clinical courses. Depending on learning needs, students will complete the program in one (1) to six (6) academic terms. Students taking the full program may complete it in three (3) terms.
Courses are offered by a combination of classroom and online (blended) delivery. Most courses will feature a mix of synchronous and asynchronous learning for students. In combination, the two methods allow students to maintain connections with their instructor and classmates (synchronous) and provide flexibility (asynchronous).
Students referred to the program by the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) must complete all required courses within two (2) years of the date of referral.
Self-referred students must complete all core courses within two (2) years of the start date of their first course.
Students must complete all core courses within two (2) years of the start date of the course to receive a Nurse Re-Entry Program Post-Graduate Certificate.
Students must obtain a minimum grade of "B" in each course.
