COMP-2366Windows Server Administration Intro

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to manage accounts and resources in a Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows 2012 environment. The course is intended for systems administrator and systems engineer candidates who are responsible for managing accounts and resources. These tasks include managing user, computer, and group accounts; managing access to network resources; managing printers; managing an organizational unit in a network based on Active Directory® directory service; and implementing Group Policy to manage users and computers.  The emphasis is on Server 2008 R2 and Server 2012

Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca. Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
