This course investigates the architecture, components and operation of routers and switches in a small to medium business environment. You will analyze, configure, verify and troubleshoot networks that employ both IPv4 / IPv6 protocols, static routing, ACLs, DHCP, Inter-VLAN routing, static routing, switch operation, spanning-tree protocol, redundancy protocols, mitigation of LAN attacks and wireless networks. Course material is presented in class through lectures and then put into practice through practical labs and problem solving sessions.
