  • Notre Dame Campus, Winnipeg
  • Portage Campus, Portage (entry dates vary)
  • Interlake Campus, Selkirk (entry dates vary)
  • Clinical practicum (240 hours)
  • Due to high demand, this funded program is open to Manitoba residents only. Applications received from non-Manitoba residents for this program will be cancelled and the application fee will not be refunded. 
Note: Due to the high demand, the August 2019 and February 2020 intakes at the Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg) is full. At this time, we are not accepting any application for the Notre Dame Campus.


Description

Take this program to acquire the knowledge and skills required to function as part of a health care team.

Learn the roles and responsibilities of a Health Unit Clerk (HUC), including:
  • Maintaining patient and unit records
  • Processing physician orders
  • Processing diagnostic and laboratory orders
  • Managing unit supplies
