Grab your digital camera and explore your creativity! In this course, you will learn the foundational photo-taking techniques by attending five one-hour sessions with an instructor and participating in a one-to-two-hour photo assignment! Get ready to bring your photography skills to the next level by competing in weekly photo challenges and stepping into the exciting world of photography!
This camp focuses on photography, art and creativity. Only 10 seats are available.
Photo-taking techniques and concepts, including freezing movement
Intro to nature and wildlife photography
Portraits (pets, loved ones, friends)
Weekly photo challenges
Materials Needed:
Digital camera (e.g. DSLR or Mirrorless) from any brand
Meeting app: Zoom or Microsoft Teams App (included with registration)
Secondary device for use with the meeting app (recommended but not required)
Internet connection
Textbooks and Booklists
Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca. Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
Note: Courses requiring a textbook will show "TR" in the Delivery field.
