EDUC-3026Assessment for Learning and Teaching

This course will focus on assessment as a process to inform teaching and learning. Students will create a variety of assessments that are authentic and align with learning outcomes including rubrics, checklists, test items, portfolios and case studies. Students will learn to assess higher order thinking, facilitate self and peer-assessment and to apply assessment principles that ensure fair, inclusive and effective.

Prerequisites

Take EDUC-1025, or take both EDUC-1090 and EDUC-1091'>EDUC-1091.
Take EDUC-2025, or take both EDUC-1091'>EDUC-1091 and EDUC-1092.
