Effective January 8, 2026, the Quality Systems Management & Applications program will no longer accept new students. All current students enrolled in the program will be contacted individually to arrange a personalized graduation plan and ensure a smooth path to program completion. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact mbaylon@rrc.ca.

You must successfully complete four courses and five electives to earn the certificate.

Core Courses:

  • Introduction to Total Quality Management 
  • Tools and Methods for Improvement of Quality
  • Technical Communication 1
  • One 40-hour computer software application course:
    • Word 
    • Excel 

Electives (choose five): 

Choose five courses in either the Technical/Manufacturing stream, the Management/Service stream or a combination of the two. Courses must total a minimum of 200 hours.

Technical/Manufacturing

  • Mechanical Blueprint Reading
  • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing 
  • Statistics 

Management/Service

  • Interpersonal Communication 1
  • Process Management - Operations 
  • Process Management - Advanced 
  • Project Management Fundamentals
