micro-credentials offered in Education and Teaching Excellence. Micro-credentials
are developed to respond to specific emerging topics in the 21st century
classroom. Take the micro-credentials if you are a lifelong learner looking to
upskill your practical application of specific teaching strategies that address
current teaching realities.
Professional experience as faculty is not a pre-requisite requirement to take
the micro-credentials. Prospective students are encouraged to self-assess the
relevance to their work or future work. Educational assistants, teacher
assistants, tutors, educational developers, and other professions may also benefit
