PROF-9013First Assistant Film Accountant Fundamentals - Payroll
In this micro-credential course, students will further their knowledge of film production accounting processes. The focus will be on film production payroll, using real-world local union requirements in calculation. Students will dissect local industry union collective agreements and implement the required protocols. Students will also audit payroll documents, ensuring meticulous attention to collective agreement articles or potential contract agreements.
Students who successfully complete this micro-credential course are awarded a digital badge in First Assistant Film Accountant Fundamentals - Payroll.
Students who successfully complete the following three micro-credential courses are awarded an overall digital badge in Film Accounting:
Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca. Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
Note: Courses requiring a textbook will show "TR" in the Delivery field.
