PROF-9012Second Assistant Film Accountant Fundamentals - Petty Cash

In this micro-credential course, students will further develop their film production accounting knowledge. This micro-credential course will focus on assessing incoming crew members' expenses, reconciling ledgers and managing film production credit cards. Financial accounting software will be used to support a variety of accounting functions for the production.

Note: The film accounting series of courses (PFOR-9010, PROF-9011 and PROF-9012) can be taken in any order. However, if you are new to the field, we suggest you take the courses in sequence.

Students who successfully complete this micro-credential course are awarded a digital badge in Second Assistant Film Accountant Fundamentals - Petty Cash.

Students who successfully complete the following three micro-credential courses are awarded an overall digital badge in Film Accounting:

Textbooks and Booklists

Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca. Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.

Note: Courses requiring a textbook will show "TR" in the Delivery field.
