Description
Take this program to acquire the knowledge and skills required to function as part of a health care team.

Learn the roles and responsibilities of a Health Unit Clerk (HUC), including:

  •      Maintaining patient and unit records
  •      Processing physician orders 
  •      Processing diagnostic and laboratory orders 
  •      Managing unit supplies

You must complete the program within 32 months from your first course of study to the end of clinical.

You must attend a Personal Health Information Act session prior to registering for the HUC-Clinical Practice. Please bring your Red River College student ID card to the session.
