PART-TIME | WINNIPEG LOCATIONS HEASP-CT Health Services Leadership and Management

Program Outline

The program consists of ten courses (360 hours of instruction). Students typically take this program on a part-time basis over three to four years. A Certificate in Health Services Leadership and Management is awarded upon successful completion of the program.   

The program includes the following courses:

  • HEAL-1074 HSLM-Customer Service Excellence - D
  • HEAL-1071 HSLM-Human Resource Management - D 
  • HEAL-1072 HSLM-Organizational Behaviour - D
  • HEAL-1073 HSLM-Health Services Finance - D 
  • HEAL-1076 HSLM-Management Concepts - D
  • HEAL-1077 HSLM-Leadership Concepts - D
  • HEAL-1078 HSLM-Decision Management - D
  • HEAL-1079 HSLM-Quality Strategies - D
  • HEAL-1075 HSLM-Issues & Trends - D

All theory courses will be delivered in an online delivery model. Some courses may be designed as asynchronous (self-directed), however, the majority will have a weekly virtual lecture delivered synchronously (instructor-led in real time). Communications throughout the course will be via RRC email and/or LEARN along with the use of MS Teams for virtual lectures.
