Orthodontic Module (DENT-1014):
- To apply for these courses, you must be a graduate of an Accredited Phase 2, Level 2, or Expanded Duties Dental Assisting Program.
- If you are a non-RRC graduate, you must submit copies of your certificate at the time of registration.
Dental Assistant Clinical Skills Refresher (DENT-1940):
- If there has been a period of three years or more since obtaining the NDAEB certificate where the Dental Assistant has not practiced, the Dental Assisting Regulatory Authority (DARA) will direct the Dental Assistant to Red River College for the Refresher.
- One of the following must be applicable:
- A graduate of an accredited dental assistant program on or before December 31, 2006
- A graduate of an accredited dental assistant program after January 1, 2007 and possesses the National Dental Assisting Examining Board certificate
- A graduate of a non-accredited dental assistant program, possesses the NDAEB certificate and has passed the NDAEB Clinical Practical Examination
