Learn how to properly prepare medical devices for safe use. Topics included are disassembly and reassembly and appropriate instrument packaging to achieve optimum sterilization and aseptic presentation.
By learning the key principles and factors affecting sterilization, students will develop the ability to use, monitor, modify, and evaluate sterilization methods and equipment. Common types of sterilization and alternative sterilization processes will be explored.

The BLS Provider Course is designed to prepare healthcare professionals to recognize several life-threatening emergencies and to provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner as per the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This course includes adult, child and infant rescue skills in both out of hospital and in-hospital settings.
