To graduate from the Medical Assistant program, a student must meet the following Graduation Requirements:
1. Receive a minimum grade of C+ (65%) in the following 11 courses:
- Introduction to Healthcare Environment
- Anatomy and Physiology I
- Communications in Healthcare
- Human Health Conditions and Disease States
- Anatomy and Physiology II
- Medical Terminology
- Medical Office Communications
- Medical Clinical Procedures I
- Medical Clinical Procedures II
- Medical Procedure Coordination and Billing Medical Assistant
- Electronic Medical Record Application
2. Receive a minimum grade of D (50%) in the following 4 courses:
- Communication Essentials
- Human Development for Healthcare Professionals
- Software Application Skills
- Global Citizen
3. Successfully complete the Keyboarding Workshop and achieve a P = 40 WPM
4. Receive a grade of P (Pass) in one of the following two courses:
- Medical Assistant Practicum
- Healthcare Applied Project Capstone
