To graduate from the Health Care Aide and Personal Support Worker program, a student must meet the following Graduation Requirements:
Receive a minimum grade of B (70%) in the following courses:
- Introduction to Healthcare Environment
- Anatomy and Physiology I
- Communications in Healthcare
- Human Health Conditions and Disease States
- Anatomy and Physiology II
- Medical Terminology
- Supporting Complex Care Needs I
- Supporting Complex Care Needs II
Receive a minimum grade of D (50%) in the following courses:
- Communication Essentials
- Human Development for Healthcare Professionals
- Software Application Skills
- Global Citizen
Successfully complete the Keyboarding Workshop and achieve a P = 40 WPM
Successfully complete the Health Care Aide Training Seminars
Receive a grade of P (Pass) in one of the following courses:
- Health Care Aide Long Term Care Practicum
- Health Care Aide Acute Care Practicum
