  • Computer-assisted design
  • Construction project management and administration
  • Construction site supervision and inspection
  • Technical sales and support
  • Building sciences and environmental system design

Architectural/Engineering Technology provides a solid foundation of learning to provide a wide array of career opportunities for graduates. Graduates may explore careers in various aspects of the construction industry (designers, estimators, builders, detailers, sales, supervisors, and inspectors) in commercial, industrial and residential construction. In addition, graduates are well suited to pursue careers as building inspectors, building envelope specialists, and building energy modellers.

This program is well suited for students who:

  • Are well organized, highly motivated, and possess strong time-management skills
  • Are proficient in math
  • Are able to communicate effectively (using both written and oral communications
  • Possess strong computer application skills
