Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process which documents and compares an individual's prior learning gained from prior education, work and life experiences and personal study to the learning outcomes in College courses/programs. For more information, please visit www.rrc.ca/rpl.

For this program, you may be eligible for RPL if:

You have successfully completed another course or program of study that included content equivalent to or exceeding that of the RRC Health Care Aide program

or

You are currently employed as a Health Care Aide in a hospital or personal care home

or

You have completed a substantial portion of a Canadian Registered Nurse (RN) or Baccalaureate Nursing (BN) program
