Carpenters preparing to take the Red Seal Exam will learn how to apply their trade knowledge for a standardized test. Students explore trade and exam-related resources and develop a study plan to support their exam preparation. They will reflect on the scope of the Carpenter Red Seal Occupational Standards and refresh their trade-related math and science skills, focusing on following procedures and the prioritization of safety. Through completion of practice tests, participation in course activities, and analysis of trade scenarios, students will develop proficiency in applying knowledge to multiple-choice exams and support their success on the Carpenter Red Seal Exam.
For further information on the carpentry trade and certification process, refer to the Red Seal Program, the Red Seal Occupational Standard for Carpenter and Apprenticeship Manitoba.
