WRKS-9213Garden Photography
In this workshop, participants explore photography as a way to observe seasonal beauty, connect with nature, and express creativity through visual storytelling. The prompts and techniques will be adjusted to reflect seasonal light, color, and plant life based on the timing of the offering - spring, summer, or autumn. Participants are encouraged to notice elements such as texture, light, and pattern while walking through gardens or green spaces. Through self-directed photo walks and reflective prompts, participants create a curated series of garden images that express themes such as growth, stillness, renewal, or personal connection to the natural world. This course supports personal insight, creative growth, and the development of visual storytelling skills.
Delivery - This workshop is in person and can also be joined online. The last session will be fully in person at a public garden in Winnipeg. More information will be provided during the first workshop session.
Equipment required: Any camera (including phones), optional journal or writing tool.
