This micro-credential course examines how Artificial Intelligence is
transforming Human Resource Management across the employee lifecycle. Learners
explore practical AI applications in workforce planning, recruitment,
onboarding, employee engagement, payroll, benefits, and compliance, while
critically evaluating ethical, legal, and bias-related considerations. The
course emphasizes applied learning through case studies, hands-on activities,
and a strategic capstone project designed to mirror real-world HR challenges.
This course is for HR professionals, people managers, and organizational
leaders seeking to apply artificial intelligence in HR practice. It supports
those involved in workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and
learning and development, while addressing ethical use, bias reduction, and
compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
If you have limited or no prior experience with AI, we recommend completing INNO-9003 - Fundamentals of AI before enrolling in this course.
This course is created by TrAInify. The course is delivered by RRC Polytech,
and all coursework will be completed through RRC Polytech’s Learning Management
System (LMS).
Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca. Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
