ECED-9013Career Planning for Early Childhood Educators

This course will focus on career planning from a personal and coaching perspective. Various sector opportunities and career paths for Early Childhood Educators will be explored. The Mentor in Training will develop a personal career plan as a culmination of this course.

Note: We recommend that students have a minimum of an Early Childhood Education diploma.

Students who successfully complete this micro-credential are awarded with a digital badge in Career Planning for Early Childhood Educators.

Students who successfully complete the following four micro-credentials are awarded an overall digital badge in Mentorship in Early Childhood Education:

Other Information

This course includes weekly LIVE online sessions - via MS Teams or Webex:

Live sessions will be held weekly on the day of the week that your course begins (for example, the course begins on a Thursday, the live sessions will be held on Thursdays). Live sessions are scheduled from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. 

Textbooks and Booklists

Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca. Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.

Note: Courses requiring a textbook will show "TR" in the Delivery field.
