New Construction Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) for Homeowners
Building a Comfortable, Energy-Efficient Home for Manitoba's Future.
Planning a new home in Manitoba and considering an air source heat pump? As energy cost rises and building requirements become more rigorous, understanding how your heating and cooling system affects comfort, operating costs and long-term home value is essential. This course introduces homeowners to modern cold-climate air source heat pump technology, explains what Net Zero Ready means and outlines how evolving energy code requirements may influence your project.
Designed for homeowners at the planning stage, this course highlights the importance of proper system design and installation. Participants will learn how sizing, installation and commissioning impact performance, and what questions to ask builders and HVAC contractors before construction begins. By the end of the course, you will be better equipped to make informed decisions and support the development of a comfortable, energy-efficient home that performs as intended for years to come.
