EDUA-1016Basic Math for Educational Assistants

In this course, students will focus on enhancing and/or developing foundational mathematical ability, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills with respect to mathematical concepts. Creating a positive math experience will be an early and on-going focus throughout the course, as students will develop their skills by exploring different ways to solve mathematical problems in many key topics.  
An emphasis will be placed throughout the course on how students can use this acquired knowledge to support a diversity of students. This course is a pre-requisite for EDUA-1015 Math Content & Practice.
