This course conforms to the third course leading to the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) designation. This course covers redundant and scalable network design with appropriate hardware components.
Students will plan, implement and troubleshoot networks of design. How to connect networks using single-area OSPF. Learn deeper information on how networks are connected globally, and how they are commonly attacked and protected by Systems Operations. Students will learn how to better manage their networks using tools for remote probing, logging, and configuration, and learn more about modern networks are managed through Application Programming interfaces
Basic procedural labs are introduced in each chapter. The students then performs basic configuration, implementation and troubleshooting labs. Packet Tracer activities reinforce new concepts, and allows students to mode and analyze routing processes.
Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca. Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
Note: Courses requiring a textbook will show "TR" in the Delivery field.
