The Building Construction Technician certificate program provides
foundational knowledge of the construction industry, including building
materials, construction estimating, technical drawings, project planning,
construction documents and professional communication.
Through a practical and interdisciplinary curriculum,
develop an understanding of how construction projects are planned, documented,
coordinated and delivered. Gain the technical and professional skills needed to
contribute effectively to construction projects and support a variety of
construction-related roles.
The program also introduces current construction practices,
technologies and project delivery methods, creating pathways for continued
professional development in areas such as digital construction, project
coordination and construction management.
