APPA-1003Advanced Pattern & Construction

Advanced Pattern & Construction introduces advanced skills in drafting women’s, men’s and children’s wear; developing and constructing sample designs; and grading patterns.

It is recommended to have taken Pattern Design before registering for Advanced Pattern and Design.

Marylla Ginkel Apparel Design Award

A $1000 award has been created by the late Ramon Zelech to honor the memory of his mother, Marylla van Ginkel. This award is available to an Apparel Design student whose passion is to develop a career in the fashion industry. The successful candidate will have completed three courses from the Apparel Design program at Red River College with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Please accompany the application with a short paragraph outlining your career goals.

Class Availability

Beginning September 1, 2018: students enrolling in Online Education courses will be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus stores or online. To review booklists and purchase textbooks, please visit bookstore.rrc.ca.

Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
