MANU-1047CNC Lathe Fundamentals & GIBBS Cam
This course offers you basic manual programming skills, and an understanding of "G" and "M" codes along with CNC setup and operation skills.
To further complement this course, GibbsCAM 2D lathe training will be integrated, as well as advanced lathe techniques.
Entrance Requirements
WHMIS Training Course on LEARN is to be completed before the start date of your course.
1 - 2 years CNC machining experience. (Due the pace of the course, students with no experience will have a difficult time keeping up with content).
Textbooks and Booklists
Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca. Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
Note: Courses requiring a textbook will show "TR" in the Delivery field.
