SEMR-1039How to Learn Online
This course will help you develop an understanding of what online learning is about and what skills are necessary to be a successful student.
You will learn some of the differences between an online and a traditional course and what it takes to succeed. You will discover:
- What your time management type is and how to make use of your skills
- How to schedule your time and use critical thinking
- How to solve some of the technical problems you might encounter
- The differences between reading a book and reading online
Textbooks and Booklists
Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca. Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
Note: Courses requiring a textbook will show "TR" in the Delivery field.
