BUSA-9035Developing Your Professional Career

Have you ever wondered how you can get to the next level in your career and what it will take? This course will help you identify the skills that all great leaders possess, while learning new skills that will help take you to the next level. Whether you are leading a department or an organization, you will gain the knowledge you need to be successful. Learn how to incorporate a developed image and communication skills that will rocket you to that next level.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will:

  • Possess the information necessary to identify the difference between verbal and non-verbal communication in the workplace.
  • Distinguish different styles of leadership.
  • Have the basic knowledge necessary to successfully lead a department or organization.
  • Know your brand and use tools for improvement to convey the right non-verbal message.

Duration: 16 hours self-directed over 1 month.

Class Availability

Beginning September 1, 2018: students enrolling in Online Education courses will be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus stores or online. To review booklists and purchase textbooks, please visit bookstore.rrc.ca.

Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
