NURPP-AC Nurse Prescriber

This program is designed to assist current practicing Registered Nurses to obtain knowledge and competencies necessary to incorporate prescriptive authority safely, competently and ethically into their professional nursing practice as required by their regulating body.

The program encompasses one core course, the choice of one specialty course and a clinical practicum. The program will be offered on a part-time basis through distance delivery. Students must complete all program requirements within 2-years. The streams currently available to specialize in are: Travel Health or Reproductive Health/STBBI. 

Please be advised the College is conducting a review of the Nurse Prescriber Advanced Certificate. In the coming months you will see modifications to the schedule of course offerings. On a go forward basis, the program will be delivered in a cohort format by term.
 
Students currently in the program will not be affected by these adjustments.
