MUME-1021Event Branding
Event Branding is the creation of a visual system for an event. Whether you are throwing a Gala Dinner and Dance, running a conference, planning a series of informational talks, or launching a new CD, your role as an Event Brander is to ensure that the print and online materials are in place and have a consistent appeal. This could include promotional posters, event tickets, program booklets, and social media elements. We create the look and feel that is appropriate to the event.
You will learn to create printed and online material using programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. This course will discuss event logos and icon systems, colour choice, poster and card design, advertisements and sponsors, signage requirements, and event programs. Also discussed are methods of social media usage and the preparation of web-ready materials.
