RRCM-1091Fundamentals of Discipline-Specific Rehabilitation
This foundational course introduces the scopes of practice of Occupational Therapists (OT), Physiotherapists (PT), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), and Audiologists in rehabilitation settings. Students examine the Rehabilitation Assistant’s role in supporting delegated interventions, interprofessional collaboration, and ethical practice. Emphasis is placed on role differentiation, clinical documentation, and professional communication to promote safe, coordinated rehabilitation services.
