ECED-2031Mentorship, Advocacy and Community Building

This course provides students with knowledge and skills to help them grow as members of the early childhood education system and the wider community. Students explore the concepts of mentorship, advocacy, and community building and the role of the early childhood educator in each. Students also examine social issues affecting community such as oppression. They have an opportunity to plan and implement a project in a related area of their interest.
