AUTO-2068Project Repair and Refinishing

During this course, students will learn the theoretical principles and procedures underpinning the application of modern topcoats using appropriate spraying equipment. Topics will include safety, equipment and accessories, final preparation, masking, paint colour, code, mixing, lighting, O.E.M. finishes, refinishing systems, and final clean-up and detailing. Personal protection and safe handling of hazardous products is emphasized. Once refinishing is complete, students will apply their knowledge of vehicle detailing procedures and assemble projects.
