CIVL-3003Architectural Technology 2
This course consists of learning fundamental concepts of
design, planning and construction techniques used in commercial construction.
Standards and methodology used in planning and preparation of architectural
design and working drawings will be reviewed. Components and materials used in
small building assemblies will be studied. The course will cover both
renovation and new construction. Part 3 of the National Building Code of Canada
will be reviewed. Students will produce design/construction drawings using
AutoCAD software.
