RRCM-1099Speech Language and Audiology

This course introduces fundamental speech language pathology and audiology principles and practices within the rehabilitation field. Students will explore key topics including communication disorders within pediatric and adult populations, the anatomy of oral cavity, and the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices. Practical learning prepares students to support safe feeding and swallowing through accurate meal observations and recognition of dysphagia symptoms.
