Get your career flowing in the Piping Trades!
The Piping Trades Certificate provides you with a Canadian perspective of the fundamental knowledge and skills required to install and repair piping systems in residential and commercial buildings. Through consultation with industry experts, this program has been developed to ensure you will learn the skills employers are seeking.
An emphasis on the efficient and safe use of tools and materials per building codes and regulations prepares you for a career in Plumbing, Pipefitting, Steam fitting, or Gas fitting. You will study and practice valuable skills such as welding, soldering, layout, and estimating.
Gain hands-on experience and learn on-the-job techniques during the 2-week Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placement. Industry professionals will safely guide you and share their experiences as you work alongside them in this Apprenticeship Manitoba accredited program.
