Students in this course will expand their digital skills for academic success, while continuing to enhance their English language skills. Students will develop digital literacy competencies for college success, including using all college-related apps and websites, as well as those unique to their programs and career goals. Students will have an opportunity to explore how to protect personal information online, as well as investigate the role of social media in education and community integration. Students will apply their newly developed digital skills in experiential learning contexts, while expanding their vocabulary to communicate on topics related to digital tools and apps used at the college.
