In this pre-intermediate course, students will practice a variety of conversational strategies to increase fluency, confidence and expand vocabulary related to various everyday topics in Canada. By engaging in small talk, discussions, dialogues, and group conversations, students will develop skills to start, maintain and end informal interactions, take turns and interrupt politely as well as recognize both verbal and non-verbal cues in a variety of contexts. Students will be encouraged to explore and experiment with new vocabulary and topics related to everyday life in Canada.
