Learn to take better pictures in a variety of situations. Develop a solid foundation in the concepts of exposure control, control of motion, depth of field, lighting, lenses, filters and ways to do macro photography. The course also emphasizes the artistic elements of photography. Students must have a digital 35mm camera that can be set manually and preferably with interchangeable lenses. They must have a good understanding of their camera and know how to set the aperture, shutter and ISO.
