DECO-9005Design Basics - Introduction

You will learn the basic differences between an Interior Designer and an Interior Decorator.  The course will outline the Elements of Design and the Principles required to organize them aesthetically and it will provide you with the opportunity to work with these elements on a personal project. The course will be broken down into six components a)line, texture and pattern,  b)color,  c)lighting,  d)furniture,  e)more on furniture, and f)working with all the elements.  At the completetion of this introductory course you will have an understanding of how these elements discern between good and bad design.
