COMP-3046Networking for IT Operations

This course builds upon the IT Operations Foundations course. It covers the fundamentals of computer networks, including the OSI and TCP/IP models, LANs, WANs, and wireless networks. The course also provides practical implementation of network protocols, network services, and network security. Students will use specialized tools to perform network troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring. Upon completion of this course, students will have the knowledge and skills required to design, implement, and manage complex computer networks. This course prepares students for CompTIA Network+ and Testout Network Pro Certifications.
