The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (R) Program is a safe, non-harmful behaviour management system designed to aid human service professionals in the management of disruptive and assaultive people, even during the most violent moments. It has been developed by the Crisis Prevention Institute, a training organization devoted to training staff in the safe management of potentially violent individuals.
Both days of this workshop will be held in class at the Notre Dame Campus.
REQUIRED: CPI Workbook - Students will not be able to complete the course without the workbook. The workbook will need to be purchased in advance through the RRC Campus Store (closed on weekends & holidays).
Students will receive a signed certificate (card) in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention upon successful completion. (This is the blue card in the workbook.)
Workshops and seminars - Partial refunds are available if request is received a minimum of eight calendar days prior to the start date.
Registration for this course is only for students enrolled in the ongoing process of obtaining a certificate in one of the below listed programs:
