TOUR-2078Destination Marketing

This course introduces students to destination marketing concepts and practices used by Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) and place-based agencies. Students examine market research, branding, placemaking, digital marketing, and sustainability considerations in tourism contexts. Through applied analysis and project-based work, students develop destination marketing recommendations informed by data, stakeholder perspectives, and responsible tourism principles.
