The knowledge areas of matter, force, Earth science, space science, life systems, and evolution are explored. Students complete their basic active and practical approach to learning and doing science. This includes conducting scientific investigations, furthering tool and measurement skills, exploring science in everyday life and looking into how science interacts with society and the environment. In Grade 10, they have many opportunities to explore Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing, including through interacting with local community and land-based learning.
